Design It

Dream up a costume made from at least 70% cardboard. You can work with other materials but remember... this is a cardboard extravaganza! 📦

Build & Film

Record a short video (30-60 seconds) of you making a costume and wearing it! Simple videos straight from your phone are perfect, we just want to see the highlights!

Take A Photo

Strike a pose and take a photo of your final costume!

Note: Teamwork is 100% welcome & encouraged.

  • No Purchase Necessary: Using a ChompSaw does not affect your odds of winning.
  • Dates: September 15 – November 1, 2026, 11:59 PM EDT.
  • Eligibility: Open to legal residents of the U.S. or Canada (excluding Québec). Under the Age of Majority, you need a parent to submit on your behalf and signed parental consent.
  • Build Requirements: Your costume must be at least 70% cardboard. No laser cutters, vinyl cutters, or 3D printers.
  • Submission: You'll need a video of your build + wearing your costume, costume photos, signed media release, entry details submitted through this form.
  • Judging: One pool, all ages! Costumes are scored on creativity, cardboard use, functionality, storytelling, and effort. No public voting.
  • Prizes: $5,000 / $1,000 / $500 USD.
  • Winners Announced: On or about November 20, 2026.

  • A 30-60 second video of your finished costume and how you built it
  • A photo of your finished costume
  • A signed media release if anyone in your content is under the Age of Majority.

Yes! Family teamwork is 100% welcome and encouraged. Unlike our past contests, submissions will just be judged per costume, which means all ages are welcome to participate. Parents you can hep your kids 💛

All entries are judged by our team on creativity, cardboard craftsmanship, functionality, storytelling and effort.
