Our Explorer's Club is a monthly digital project subscription for inventors aged 5–7. Every month, you’ll get a new digital pattern from cardboard creator Sam Wilde. Just download, print, and build!
Each month's project is designed for smaller hands and big imaginations, so young inventors can cut, assemble, and play with their creations independently. Every pattern comes with kid-friendly visual instructions, a video tutorial walking through the build, and a play prompt or open-ended design challenge to keep the imagination going long after the last piece is in place!
Pro tip: Explorer's Club projects pair perfectly with our Blueprint Kit and Bits and Baubles kit. The Blueprint Kit makes printing and adhering your pattern to cardboard way easier (and way stickier) - no glue sticks required! The Bits and Bobbles pack comes loaded with all the little materials some builds call for, from rubber bands to brad fasteners, so you're never hunting for supplies mid-build.

Explorer's Club
When you purchase a subscription to the Explorer's Club, you'll receive repeat digital projects based on the plan you select: monthly, 3-month prepaid, or 12-month prepaid.
Monthly plans are billed each month. 3-month and 12-month plans are paid upfront for the full term, with projects emailed monthly during that period.
All plans automatically renew at the end of their term (monthly plans renew each month; 3-month and 12-month plans renew for another full term) unless canceled.
You can cancel anytime, effective for your next billing cycle. If you cancel a prepaid plan, the cancellation stops future renewals. It does not refund the remaining projects in your current term.
You can update your payment method or email address at any point during your subscription. Your subscription confirmation emails include a link to your customer portal where you can manage additional details.

No! The Explorer's Club is a digital subscription, meaning that new projects will be delivered each month via email. You will have access to your first project immediately after purchase, and can print it out at home to get started!
You will need a variety of household materials to complete each project. To start, each project will need to be printed on any standard home printer. Every project will also require a method of attaching the patterns to cardboard–either by printing the patterns onto our Blueprint Paper (with water-activated adhesive), or by using a standard glue stick.
Assembling each project may also need a few other supplies, like double-sided tape, brad fasteners, or string. We've gathered up our most-used supplies in our Bits n' Baubles Kit to avoid that last-minute junk drawer supply search!
We kid-test all of our projects to make sure they're age-appropriate, engaging, and just the right amount of challenging. Inventors aged 5-7 should be able to complete these projects with minimal adult intervention. We recommend staying nearby in case they get stuck, and help can always be found in our written and video instructions!

Yes! Month-to-month plans renew each month, and prepaid plans renew at the end of each term. You can cancel before your renewal date to prevent future charges.
Explorer's Club projects ship in a set order. Each one is designed to build on the skills from the month before, so the sequence is part of the experience! That being said, you can always pause your subscription via your subscription portal.
