Something to weigh the feeder at the bottom - a glass bottle or a soda can works well here!
Reminders: Choose a spot with some shelter from wind and rain, and hang your feeder somewhere you can see it. Half the fun is watching who shows up! Refill with birdseed as needed and check on it if it rains.
